Rolling hills, verdant, green, azure skies of blue, white puffy clouds float along with the breeze, ah, summer, I’ve been waiting, for you. Flowers decorate the meadows below, a sea of white, they are nature’s reflection. Oh, how I long to get lost, in the glow, of Heaven’s purest perfection. The scent in the air, breathes my thoughts to the wind, pondering, where this season rescinds; the warmth of her touch, giving in to the fall, oh, summer, you’re not nearly long enough, at all. So I shall plant, this image in my head, dream of these days, when winter, instead, has brought in the frost, to cover the land, and pray once again, for sweet summer, so grand.

I combined Sue’s #writephoto and ~M’s Daily Writing Prompt  🙂

They left you a trail, quite an incredible sight

Invisible creatures that blended with light

Creating a passage, through the forest, so dense

With leaves, from the trees, but still you could sense

The aura of beings, who had passed this way

Quickly, before nighttime had turned into day

Making sure that their presence would surely be seen

On the deep trodden path, and everywhere, in between

So when darkness appeared, on the floor of the land

Their footsteps would guide you, like holding your hand

Through the pitch of the night, into sunlight’s first gleam

Tis then you’ll awake, believing all was a dream

Join Sue, every Thursday, as she delights us with a new photo (or two)!  Thanks again, for another beautiful photo prompt!

Come to me, my sweet apparition

My dream has now come to fruition

Your flame, solely, belongs to me

A spirit, a guardian, I welcome thee

Rising up from the fire, we become

One with the flame, and easily succumb

Together, we embrace the true beauty

Of the fire, the spirit, and the mighty bee

The winds blew silently against her

Dress swayed, like ripples in the sea

She stood there, in the twilight

Enjoying life, unbothered, carefree

All he could see in the darkness

Were her six red balloons, in the sky

He thought about calling out to her

But all he could do was just sigh

Wondering if he should approach her

The thoughts in his head turned to mush

It would be another Valentine’s Day, spent alone

He’d have to dream, about his mystery crush

I used to be her favorite dream

A nightmare now, is what I seem

She dare not open up her eyes

For I am one who petrifies

The small one, when she falls asleep

I’ll wait, until she slumbers deep

Then frighten her, awake, she’ll cry

I’ve never really understood why

I used to think she cared for me

Now, she’s just plain scared of me
