You were electrically charged

Swift bolts of jagged edges

Held up by clouds, but you,

You couldn’t be contained

Too powerful to be harnessed

Too fiery to be claimed

As the gods of thunder roared

And the battle pursued

You fought til the end

Quietly making your way

Across the blackened skies

Darkness falls over your face

Blackened, like ash and soot

Blown about by solar winds

She no longer has the need

So she sends them to you

On the wisps of the clouds

From the shadows of the demons

Cast into the ebony skies

Until you are shrouded, hidden

In a haze of starless pitch

Allowing only the slightest light

To reign over the empyrean cosmos

Blazing blue eyes, that summon twilight

Covering skies, yes, she’s gazing at you

Darkening paths, as the stars become new

Teasing with glimmers, the last of the light

Dreams become real, when she slips out of sight
