Glow bright, as world’s collide

Seek out the shadows of night

Covered in clouds, I cannot see

The dimming of your light

Earth has overshadowed you

Only darkness on your face

Until the sun reclaims the sky

All is not well, in outer space

Moon set slowly, do not leave

Your face, I need to see

For only you can understand

The emptiness, inside of me

As sunbeams caress

Awakening majesty

With auras of hope

Sunna softens midnight skies

Kissing the day good morning

Authors Note: Sunna is the Norse Goddess of the Sun, also known as Sól, though some hold that Sól is the mother and Sunna Her daughter. (www.thaliatook.com)

A blend of delicacy and might

I bow toward the rising sun

Bending with the gentle breeze

The morn and I are one

Warmth, from every angle, breathes

As leaves turn brilliant green

My petals open in graceful dance

And I create a beautiful scene

Child of darkness, an endless plight
Carry your sadness, into the night

Moon shines down, a trodden path
Nothing is left, in the aftermath

Lift up your head, here, do abide
Safety awaits you, by my side

Through the forest, trees will guide
Wiping away, the tears you’ve cried

Limbs extend, to grasp, to hold
Gentle hugs, around you, fold

Heed their warmth, brave the cold
September, leaves your spirit old

October comes, the midnight hour
This, is when my light, will tower

Over your journey, feel the power
So full, there is no need to cower

Rise up, and let me bring you home
Together, through the dark, we roam

Fear nothing, while I am in your sight
Follow me, closely, no need for flight

Sleep, while morning shines her sun
Then seek me out, when day is done

Softly setting, into night

Clouds gather, in the light

Whispers heard, above, in air

Pierce the moment, without care

Speak to twilight, grayish blue

Capture beauty, in its hue

Of golden rays, and orange flecks

To tell the tale, of what comes next

Softly setting, sun’s pure light

Murmur sweetly, into the night
