Tossed about
By the curse of the sea
The crew, in peril,
Could not break free.
The demons held tight,
Never letting go
Poor little ship,
Thrown about, to and fro.
Damaging waves
Thrashed about the bow
Men, hanging on,
But they didn’t know how
To stop the water
From coming aboard
Surely, someone
Had caused this discord
No time to wonder
No time to blame
The rocks, getting closer
Held each of their names
One by one,
They disappeared
Voices, now silenced
It’s what they had feared
They never did find
This vessel, lost at sea
Surely, evil prevailed
Twas the Devil’s apogee

Awakening majesty
With auras of hope
Sunna softens midnight skies
Kissing the day good morning
Authors Note: Sunna is the Norse Goddess of the Sun, also known as Sól, though some hold that Sól is the mother and Sunna Her daughter. (www.thaliatook.com)

If you look closely upon this place
Perhaps you’ll see the captain’s face
Hands on wheel, to steer his boat
The hull of which shall never float
Again upon the endless sea
For once a mighty shipman, he
Could not save his precious vessel
Washed ashore, forever nestled
From the waters, onto the land
Forever lost, in grains of sand
