Over meadow, flowers bloom
Through the mist, a gathered plume
On wings that span the sky of gray
Adding color, to a dreary day
Gliding, beauty, through the air
Soaring about, I see her there
Gracing my eyes, in the clouded morn
Awakening this soul, no longer forlorn

The sun, bursting through clouds
Like a volcano, releasing its steam
Bright rays of light, dripping down
Like magma, it pools, into the ocean
Hardening, as cooling waters greet
Pieces, floating onto the shore
Creating scapes, rocks, positioned
On the sand, a final resting place
As the clouds continue to erupt
Overflowing, with the glory of morn
