She let the wind take her
Particles of life drifting in the air
Like the sands of time, shaping her
Bending her, into the breeze
Caressing, every element
Breathing new life, resurrecting
Rejuvenating, reclaiming
What once had grown old

A touch ignites a shiver
A fiery tingle of flesh
Upon flesh, we breathe
Under the quarter moon
Light reflecting only
In places, unknown
We venture, seeking
We find, and linger
And in the night
We become one

It’s rather abysmal, time sifting through
Like sands, fighting against the tide
We tread in shallow waters, afraid of the riptides
Still, we are pulled out, farther into the waves
Til we disappear, growing ever fainter
Like the setting sun, fading into the horizon

I can hear you murmur in the night
Like the distant rumble of thunder
Or is it the sound of my heart, beating
As you whisper to me, in my dreams
Awakening me, with a gentle touch
The tantalizing brush of your lips
Against my neck, and I am yours
Kinetic energy, like lightning, strikes
Sending sensations of fire, through me
In a frenzy, across the night, together
We become one with the storm
