Never speak with your mouth full
Unless you spit seeds of happiness
So that all may grow in abundance
You might remember Dennis the Menace from last autumn, he’s back and still a stinker but he’s better at sharing 😉

Another rumble pierces the quiet
The start of another raucous riot
Thunderous sounds, lightning flashing
Clouds open up, rain falls, thrashing
Pummeling nature, impeding paradise
Flowers lay fallen, a cruel sacrifice
Through open curtains, I see it unfold
Watching as skies become uncontrolled
Then my eyes grow heavy, to stay awake I must fight
Til I fall asleep, to the sound of the rain, in the night

A rumble in the sky, in the darkest of night
Rain pours down, with no end in sight
Their bodies cry out, such a jubilant sound
Souls have been lifted from under the ground
Up to the sky, on the wisp of a cloud
They cling to each other, faces unshroud
Though joyful, these spirits, as they climb ever high
They tearfully watch, as the clouds start to cry

Wooden slats laid on the floor
Up the sides, so many more
The ceiling’s just another wall
Insanity finds you, you start to fall
Down to the bottom, no sign of light
No windows nor doors, it must be the night
Nowhere to turn, nowhere to run
When will this agony ever be done?
You feel all around, as you move side to side
It’s too dark to tell, for fear, where you hide
Down in the corner, head in your hands
You cry out in anguish, silent demands
But no one can hear you, they’ve all gone away
In this wooden box, forever, you’ll stay
