Our lives are a bit more fragile, then we like to believe

Each day we are alive, we may face yet another trial

But, on the day of reckoning, perhaps, we can perceive

That our presence on this Earth, has been worthwhile

Though snowfall is surely part of winter’s frosty cold

It still brings with it a certain magic, we cannot quell

The iridescence of the light, is truly a sight to behold

When the sun reflects, creating a prismatic carousel

March has joined us, on this weather spiral

Her radiant sun, trying hard to appease

What I’d really prefer, is warmth, gone viral

I’m so tired of cold, and so are my knees!

Flowers show their faces
Chin up, to the morning sun
Stretching, as a new day
Shines, upon each one

Yet, further in the distance
The snow has just begun
Newly fallen, it appears
Perhaps, winter is not done

Mother Nature, once again
Continues playing games
Every year’s no different
She always takes the blame

It’s how she keeps her stature
Tis her universal claim to fame
Else, if things were boring
You might forget her name

She’s a blending of the seasons
By using a touch of her hand
You may think otherwise, but
She has this whole thing planned

Her touch creates the wonder
We admire across the land
With her palette, full of colors
Things always look so grand

So, when you see the flowers
But, the hills are full of snow
You can’t imagine life, without
This amazing, living, show

Give thanks to Mother Nature
As you watch her beauty grow
Be sure she knows you’re grateful
For decorating Earth just so

Along the banks they stand, proudly, and wait

The misty morning, always, coveting their fate

Statuesque, majestic trees, one after the other

Try to shake the gloom, as limbs begin to shudder

From tiny particles, tis the rime, of winter’s bane

All they want is warmth, to ease the chilling pain

But alas, when day is over, and the sunlight strays

Evening settles in with more, of that melancholic haze
