A fiery apple, she quietly lures

Outside the town, nobody did notice

To her advantage, she uses a spell

This gypsy girl, mysterious poetess

Chanting rhymes and incantations

He falls for her, much to his chagrin

She knows exactly how to charm

But the fairy tale would never begin

Anger holds her tighter than love

He is doomed, in the aftermath

Never to see home, again, he is done

Easily bitten, by the apples of wrath

sunset 12315
When day becomes night, igniting a flare

As the sun sets its light, with nary a care

Where the shadows grow dark, no more fire aglow

Extinguishing the spark, slowly setting, below

When the rhythm of rhymes, are thoughts in my head

And the light from the moon shine, is silently shed

If you listen, you’ll hear such a sweet harmony

Of words finding life, taking flight, freeing me

Like wind that whips through trees, afraught

Howling through my endless thoughts

Gathering round enlightened space

Of visions that have found their place

Inside my heart, the dreams do swell

Swirling, down an endless well

Of letters brought together, words

Of poetry, my heart now stirred

With dreams and visions, once lost in time

Now blended beauty, found in rhyme
