When day becomes night, igniting a flare
As the sun sets its light, with nary a care
Where the shadows grow dark, no more fire aglow
Extinguishing the spark, slowly setting, below
When the rhythm of rhymes, are thoughts in my head
And the light from the moon shine, is silently shed
If you listen, you’ll hear such a sweet harmony
Of words finding life, taking flight, freeing me

Erika, the picture did it no justice….it was stunning and so inspiring. My favorite time of day, as the sun sets and night envelops the skies 🙂

I hear you! I see the most impressive colors appearing in the sky. But when I look at the pictures, the colors are never the same! But from that understanding I can imagine how it might have looked like!
