Full moon child
Light shines
From thine heart
Floating gently
Across the night
We are one
Hand to soul
Grasp the power
Of the light
Hold steadfast
Until the dark
Is done

Watch the light
Flow slowly by
Breathe it in
Nothing between us
Not you nor I
Can ever stop fate
From beginning
Again

Fear not
The light
That covets
Night skies
Bask
In the glory
Of brilliance
Peace
Comes to you
In celestial sigh
We are
The dark’s
Resilience

Let go your heart, set sail, across the mighty seas

Journey on, allow yourself to put your mind at ease

The wind has a power, like a child, it wants to play

Feel the freedom, in your soul, as it carries you away

Walk
With me
On the beach
Twilight beckons
As the sun sets west
Taking the day with it
It is the time to seek peace
Find a space within our own hearts
That reaches out, comforts, and assures
Remains untrodden, like sand, at high tide

Martin Luther King Jr., the man, who had a dream

Imagined that life could be beautiful, this is true

So, why is it, we cannot get along with one another?

Why is it our words are, so often, misconstrued?

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr.

How unique a plan, to find peace in our hearts

Sadly, some have been searching for it, so long

Together, with kindness, stretched across lands

We can build a new world, invincible, and strong
