Tis moonrise, my pet

Find courage, in its light

Glide, among the stars

Become one, with the night

Never fear the darkness

It’s time to spread your wings

Imagine how your heart will soar

Amidst extraordinary things

I myself have journeyed

Where now I set you free

Fly, my dearest dragon

The world, is yours, to see

Drawn into the darkness

By a vision in the night

Unafraid of what she sees

She journeys toward the light

Reaching out to touch it

Though shocking as it seems

It brightens as she nears it

Illuminates her dreams

A child, who wanders freely

We watch, for she is ours

Her aura, so radiantly shines

She is one among the stars

When slowly sets the evening sun

And twilight skies have just begun

I watch, as clouds display the night

Changing colors, with the light

Purple, orange, yellow, and rose

Inspiring thoughts, unwritten prose

Something too ethereal, to put into words

The most beautiful silence I’ve ever heard

He sleeps through the night

Rages of a storm, his dreams

Scattering, in the wind

Drenching, as rain pours

Against the windows

This is his life, his imagination

He sleeps through the fight

Emotionless, visions extreme

Thunderous, a time he sinned

Soaking through, to his core

Now left alone, like a widow

This is his life, his damnation
