Under radiant light, once again, reborn

A whispering breeze across the vibrant sky

She awakens with the gentle call of morn.

Life on Earth heaves a gentle sigh

For she is the mountain that reigns above

And the lands found down below

Delicate beauty, who bestows with love

As she watches her mighty Earth grow

Seems Jupiter hadn’t learned his lesson
Decided Venus was worth the bliss
Made his way toward her space
Got a smack in the face
Lost a moon, all he does now is hiss

Mother Earth watched it all and she’d had it
Remember, she had given Jupiter the boot
Once again, with a bang
He lost, to a gang
Of women, now isn’t that a hoot!

You can read about Jupiter’s encounter with Mother Earth HERE

She is the wings, of a bumble bee,

and the falling leaf, from a sycamore tree.

She is a blade of grass, blowing in the wind,

and the stem, from where a flower begins.

She is the starlit night, in the sky above,

and the moon, under which you fall in love.

She is the heavens you look up to, and sigh,

And she is a cloud, slowly drifting by.

She is the ocean, as waves crash on shore,

And all the world, of which you adore.

A gathering of life forms, we all convene,

For she is the universe, vast and unseen.

Always a goddess, one of power and might

Mother Earth shines, both day and night

Gaea, or Mother Earth, was the great goddess of the early Greeks. She represented the Earth and was worshiped as the universal mother. In Greek mythology, she created the Universe and gave birth to both the first race of gods (the Titans) and the first humans. (Info)

She awakens with the breath of morning

Droplets on her face, nourishment from above

Resting peacefully, in a scented bed, a sachet

Of lasting fragrance, a multitude of floral bliss

Reproducing, she tends her flock, makes way

For those still waiting to blossom, and she smiles

Contented, as she lays her head down to rest

Knowing, that evermore, she is the Mother Earth

Tears, shed from above

Flow downward, touching each soul

Cleansing Mother Earth
