We dwell too long, on dreams, of the past

Hoping mere promises, will arrive, at last

And lead us to more, wait! What have we become?

Like ravenous dogs, we anger at some

Who dare not see the day, just as we do

Who look beyond, though there are few

They, who remind us, we must always endeavor

To keep looking forward…

…into tomorrow’s forever

Just me, being silly. Can’t be serious all the time 😉

Hey, it’s me again, the middle of the week

That day a silly camel always likes to speak

Not sure, who chose him, to be my voice

Apparently, I was never given the choice

But that’s okay, see, he’s letting you know

Yippee! We only have two more days to go

Before the weekend hits and we can party

Consuming alcohol makes us fool hearty

Then Sunday ends and we start to moan

Going back to work always makes us groan

Soon it’s me again, guess what day that is!

Come on, you know the answer to this silly quiz

So, let’s count the days until, Friday’s here

When we can imbibe, on Jim and Jack! Cheers!

Perhaps the night
Brings darkness
To cover up
The tears
Ones shed
By the clouds
Though
Never obvious
I ponder about
Where exactly
They’ve come from
Who is shedding them
And why
Are there angels
Mourning the loss
Of a loved one
Bearing the sorrow
Unburdening us
Our hearts
A cleansing
For the soul
Now in eternal rest
Or
Is it something
Beyond the simplicity

It swirled, like an eddy, from deep below

Took everything with it, in the undertow

Gulls hovered over, in awe of the sea

Tried hard, not to become, what would be

Such turbulence, they had never seen

Deep in the waters, this swirling green

Pristine white, its crests swayed, to and fro

How much it would engulf, was hard to know

We watched from above, afraid to go near

Lest the sea swallowed us, this we did fear

Mesmerized by its beauty, awed by its sight

It activated our senses, to flee out of fright

Still, there we waited, wondered, would it make good

Then we watched it take over, the place where we stood

He hides in the grass, neath the barren tree

Watching, waiting, but he still doesn’t flee

The sound of shotguns, pierce the fresh air

To show himself now, he wouldn’t dare

Alone in the meadow, not another nearby

He knows if he stays there, he may just die

But also, to move, could seal his fate

He’d have to stay, right there, and wait

For his doe had met her imminent demise

This came, unfortunately, as no surprise

As he remembers, sadly, the reason why

She had been taken, by another guy
