The scent of lavender entices

Causing them to swarm to her

She is blissfully intoxicating

As they imbibe on her essence

Drinking in life’s pure nectar

thunderstorm-501914_960_720Clouds come together

In a battle of power

Colliding, one into the other

Clashing, crashing

A calamitous clamor

Like a toddler

Incessantly banging a drum

The rhythm of beautiful noise

The sky blushes in pinks and reds

As sunset silently strokes her face

A brush of sea air, her reminder

To return herself to the twilight

Disappearing, as night crawls in

Slowly fading away with the day

Darkness, you are the night

That shines in ebony brilliance

The black that ignites my soul

When I bask in your pitch

Seeking the shadows, your eclipse

Cimmerian in color, distinct

Is the ink of your veil, and I

Your most loyal servant

Find myself, again, aphotic

Closer, to the sunless sky

Uniting as one, with Erebus
