She is the storm, throughout the night

As thunder roars, and skies turn white

Blissfully wreaks havoc, among the calm

Yes, this is her fire, her soothing balm

Scatters herself, with ice, snow and rain

Eyes of fury, a heart, filled with disdain

No chance to stop this deadly spree

She thrives on it, tis her malady

And just when you think she, at last, subsides

She returns, with an anger, more intensified

Author’s note:  Dedicated to the last three Nor’easter’s with number four arriving tomorrow!!  Someone, please, make them stop!

Fires flame the midnight sky

Lightning crashes, thunders by

Anger keeps her, at this pace

Feeds her hunger, in this place

Ravenous, the power exceeds

A turbulence, no one does need

Explosive, in her deadly task

Voracious, she unveils her mask

Fire flows from out her hands

Burns the ground, on which she stands

And she feels no heat, as the lava flows

For the night is, forever, in her throes

She is
A frozen beauty
In the night
The aurora
Of lights

Shimmering

Cold

Dark

Deadly

A vision
Reflecting
Jewels
Gleaming
The crown
She holds

Alluring

Her offer

Enticing

Accept it, and she will freeze
Your soul
