So cruel the tongue, where wicked flashes
The heart, so hardened, ever clashes
Without hope, they will never see
The walk they’ve chosen, cannot be
Words that maim, and actions, sunder
Evil, the soul, who has fallen under
The spell of another, who casts its stone
Yet, stands in the darkness, quite alone
Who dares not seek the light that blinds
Remains a soul, inhuman, unkind
That lashes out, when facing facts
Then denies its harsh, ungodly acts
Placing blame, on all but they
The mind, does simply go, astray
And though you try to reel them in
They choose to live this life of sin
Where evil dwells, and cruelty reigns
Held down, and forged, in heavy chains
Ones they made, from their own hate
Unknowingly, sealing, their own fate

Cluttered, empty spaces, found, but left unkempt
Emotion thrown, strewn about, in moral contempt
Answers, unquestioned, doubt exuded, within
Why on Earth am I? And where shall I begin?
To put the broken pieces, puzzled, back together
No help, those, who only dwell in fairest weather
White clouds follow, over me, pours down the rain
Why is it, no matter what, praise becomes disdain?
Received, but never sent, animosity finds its space
However small, to penetrate, a sacred inner place
To smash the dreams, so broken, and overrun
Now I see where I am. And why I have begun.

Spare the child
For she is
Too young
To know the truth
Too naïve
To understand
Why not
Blame yourself
Instead of
Putting her
In harm’s way
For the sake
Of your own
Insanity
Spare the child
Your drama
Self-centered
Never
Looked good
On you
Instead
Thank God
She grew
Into a woman
Self-confident
Not self-absorbed

It is always so easy to delate, those who choose wrong
Pointing fingers, must always come with hard evidence
Make a pledge to a better self, where it firstly belongs
Let others decide for themselves, their own negligence
