Imagine we are lost at sea
With only ripples of water beside us
Aboard this tiny boat, with me
Just enough of a breeze to guide us
There’s no one around, for miles, and miles
Only wide open space, decked out in blue
Perhaps we just bask, in the sun, awhile
Yes, that’s exactly what I think we should do
Then let the sails take us, far, far away
And forget about life on the shores
It’s just us, and the wind, for today
I’m sure I’ve had this dream before

That would be so lovely. Just us in a boat drifting, with nothing but time to talk and share ideas of poetry. 🙂 ❤

Love this imaginative dream but it reminded me of the ancient mariner. 🙂

I don’t recall the mariner being romantic 😳. Thank you, Balroop
