Evil lies
In emerald eyes
Be wary of her meek disguise
She hides it well
This living hell
The hunger never dies
She must find
Else lose her mind
A victim to sate her need
His scent is near
The smell of fear
His body he must cede
So she may live
Though not forgive
The horror she inflicts
Night is done
And she has won
Her blood stained lips she licks

He watched himself change, in an odd kind of way
Would never go out, nor show his face in the day
His hunger was ravenous, but not for food, I’m afraid
Though you’d think it hideous, it was what he craved
An image of who he once was, a reflection, despised
Checking the mirror, again, he adjusted his disguise
Candlelight flickering, cast an eerier glow on his face
Finally understanding, why he was bound to this place
And when it hit him, raging, like a wild, relentless flood
He knew what he needed, was another human’s blood

Vampires should know better
Never indulge in something so sweet
Chocolate is sure to whet the appetite
The sheer enjoyment just can’t be beat!
Now that autumn has returned
And Halloween is not far behind
They’re getting themselves ready
For a night that’s quite sublime
Although, some have started already
Raiding houses in search of a nibble
They aren’t looking for necks, oh no
Over this, they try not to quibble
They gathered together to set out a plan
Each one would go his own way
Remembering not to cross one another
They would follow the moon until day
There was a young lad, new to the game
He stole from the others, how dandy
Overdosed on what he had in his sack
Now he’s in the ER, coffin’ candy

She hides in the shadows
Blending in with the night
A young maiden in waiting
For her evening delight
She plans for her feast
At the edge of the wood
This pretty little lady
Is surely up to no good
She appears to be human
A facade quite believing
One trick of her trade
And her looks are deceiving
She thirsts for the blood
Of any human form
Then, once she is sated
She disappears, in a storm
She’s kept her mates waiting
For their dinner, you see
Tis not one that she feasts for
More hunger, like she
