The rumble of the skies

Amidst the falling of the rain

And the howling of the winds

Sings a melody, so entrancing

Tis sweet music to my ears

Inspired by the events currently taking place outside my window.  🙂

Creatures teach us best

Even when summer swelters

Just chill in the heat

I stand on the shoreline, the ocean, so free

I feel the breeze flowing, sensually

The rush of the waves, the smell of the air

I dream of the beach, and wish I was there

Where cooling water, refreshes my skin

Washing away, all of yesterday’s sins

Baptizing my being, cleansing my soul

Letting the tides, take total control

I want to stay sleeping, in this sweet fantasy

The sand, and the breeze, the water, and me

The sky hints of summer

Pastel colors blend, in warm shades

Of pink, and powder blue, cotton candy

And clouds, dripping vanilla ice cream

A circus brought to life

By the ringmaster above
