A brave knight, once found himself, in a pickle

Seems the monarchy, had thought him a jinx

And the fair princess, always rather fickle

Now preferred the dragon, instead of Sir Binks

In front of the iron gateway

She stood, thinking about her life

She was once a princess, fair

Now a woman, filled with strife

Things were becoming impossible

With each day, she tried to decide

Should she open up the bars?

And step into the realm, on the other side?

Something told her, she’d better chance it

Dare not leave a dragon, waiting for his bride

One last glance, then through the doorway

Uncertainty leaving her, by the wayside

She donned her pretty tutu

Forgot about her shoes

Grabbed a yellow sunflower

Held on tight, as not to lose

Golden tresses fell

In waves, she didn’t lack

Traveled down the pavement

Never once did she look back

She was only a child, a wanderer

Though she drifted, less and less

Followed the roads before her

No longer a restless princess

She is a wandering spirit, the guardian of the light

Keeping watch on her castle, a maiden, in flight

Her gown made of flora, quite the princesses wear

A crown of the same, make her dance upon air

Through fields full of green, and skies ever blue

This is her homeland, to which she remains true
