Winter’s wicked breath

Mundane, until it touches

On fallen autumn

Frost covets flora

A moment, frozen in time

Awaiting the spring

Dare to take a chance
Never mind the mundane
Life is gray matter
It could use a bit of color

Sweep away the boring
Forget about the plain
The day to day truly
Couldn’t be much duller

Choose the door
To opportunity, open wide
Sidle away from strife
Spice it up, it’s waiting

You’ll never know til you do
Just take a step inside
Hurry now, no time to waste
I promise, it’s captivating

Spirit move, through mountain mist

Embrace the morning’s secret kiss

Watch, as grass and earth appear

Knowing, soon, the sun grows near

Tis your time to, again, return

Where hidden, deep, beyond the berm

Is the mystical place, in which you dwell

Alas, you’ll cast your worldly spell

Which calls to the mist, come and play

And it whisks away the light of day

Tis then you emerge, atop your domain

For this is your life, on this earthly plane

Join Sue, every Thursday, as she delights us with a new photo (or two)!  Thanks again, for another beautiful photo prompt!

I am old but not so old

I have traveled to everywhere

And nowhere

From the beginning of time

To the ends of the Earth

I’ve encountered strange things

And run from the mundane

There is much before me

But nothing behind me

Though time has passed slowly

I am rapidly wasting away
