I have found the dragon books
Where stories are told, of chivalry

Dare not try to take them
For I lived these tales, so vividly

Each page, now burned with words
Every breath I took, now written

Makes me feel quite wonderful
In fact, I’m really smitten

With myself, these days, I journey
To find the rest of my family

Bound together by human hands
In some place called a library

I hear they have many books there
I really cannot wait to see

I hope they let me through the door
So I can finish my dragon tree!

They must have sneaked up on me

When I wasn’t paying attention

And now I’m wearing this silly dress

You can understand my apprehension

I know that Easter’s coming soon

But I still feel rather funny

You see, it doesn’t make much sense

To dress a dragon as a bunny!

Mystic powers, in her hands

Elfin magic, carefully planned

A talisman of water, blue

That hides the secrets, no one knew

Of how she came to be an elf

Different from her mortal self

They called her queen, with scepter tall

She ruled their world, the big and small

Never to learn that their precious queen

Knew her victory had been foreseen

Cast me a spell, that sets, like a fire

Flames in the darkness, my truest desire

Words that shadow, as the night closes in

Allow me to follow, when the spirits begin

Their incantations, to darken the light

The wakening of Luna, full and bright

Cast me a spell, my one true desire

The moon, my soul, to wickedly conspire

Daydreaming, in a lighthearted way
Staring off in the distance, she sighs

Light in the forest, behind her
Daybreak, again, on the rise

Elfin magic begins its descent
She waits for it to draw near

Dancing about, sunbeams shine
This is her favorite time of the year

For the world around, grows brighter
As the darkness quickly fades away

Nature begins her spring rebirth
And the elves rejoice, on this day
