A little bit of pixie dust

Lay scattered, on the ground

Magically, the trees would change

Their colors, quite profound

A mystical elfin treasure

Mother Nature put on land

She’d color the world in a beautiful way

Autumn, she said, must be grand!

But in order for this to happen

No color could this sprite contain

She must leave it behind in the forest

Until winter came calling again

It was only then she could reclaim

The beauty she left behind

Waiting for autumn to return once more

Was all that she had on her mind

She is the wings, of a bumble bee,

and the falling leaf, from a sycamore tree.

She is a blade of grass, blowing in the wind,

and the stem, from where a flower begins.

She is the starlit night, in the sky above,

and the moon, under which you fall in love.

She is the heavens you look up to, and sigh,

And she is a cloud, slowly drifting by.

She is the ocean, as waves crash on shore,

And all the world, of which you adore.

A gathering of life forms, we all convene,

For she is the universe, vast and unseen.

Always a goddess, one of power and might

Mother Earth shines, both day and night

Gaea, or Mother Earth, was the great goddess of the early Greeks. She represented the Earth and was worshiped as the universal mother. In Greek mythology, she created the Universe and gave birth to both the first race of gods (the Titans) and the first humans. (Info)

Red as the crimson, in the trees

In a dress she wears, so grand

The ghost of autumn, unveils herself

As leaves that fall upon land

She scatters her earthly presence

Throughout the forests, serene

And leaves behind a masterpiece

No imagination has ever seen

She blends as one with nature

Tis her time to shine, it’s true

The spirit of seasons changing

She’s the colors of the world, anew

Beware the shards, shattered en masse

Splintered fragments, broken glass

Fractured pieces, glimmered fright

One bite of the apple, was evil’s delight

Her rapturous stare, dug deeper within

He was caught in the fractals, reflected again

The sins of the man, he mirrored, you see

No longer innocent, the victim was he

She promised, to let him go free, on a whim

Then snickered, she knew twas the end of him

She showed him no mercy, she thrived on disdain

The sweeter his demons, the deadlier his pain

The fantasy does come alive

As fairy wings about do fly

Dance throughout the midnight air

Around the forest with no care

Guided by the pale moon light

Frolicking merrily, so sweet a sight

I watch from yonder meadow tree

Fascinating beauties, roaming free

Who glide upon the winds of night

Enchanting me with winged flight
