Restless nights
No sleep in sight
Tossing and turning
Yearning
For your arms around me
Your love to surround me
Telling me everything’s alright
This silence it deafens me
Blinding with nihility
Longing for closure
From this hollow exposure
Lost in an emptiness
Leaving me breathless
No longer willing to fight

As darkness casts the shadows
And I begin to doubt
Through the ups and downs
As I try to find my way home
You guide me, never judging
