Awakened by light

Christened by the warmth of sun

Springtime has blossomed

sunbeams
The soft whisper

Of a silent hello

Filling my ears

Calling out to me

Letting me know

In this place filled

With so much pain

And confusion, that

You are still here

A comfort in my world

Until we meet again

In yours….

Innocence dances in morning so bright

Not a care to concern her, she’s one with the light

Donning flowers about her face

A child of beauty and elegant grace

Free as the elements, one with the wind

Swirling about, again and again

Taking it all, she is lost without care

Free as a butterfly, dancing on air

Daydreams linger in my cup

As I watch the sunlight fade

Into the clouds of misty air

The moon and stars cascade

Filling up my senses

With the fantasy of night

Spilling my imagination

Stirring at the sight

Held inside, my endless thoughts

Where wonders never cease

Displayed before my very eyes

Evening’s empyrean masterpiece

Over verdant land it flows

Lingering, malefic, is the mist

Nary reaching to her toes

Where upon the bridge she sits

Once a maiden, oh so fair

Now lost, within the stone

No longer golden locks of hair

She is left here, all alone

Dissuading never worked on her

She wouldn’t heed advice

It happened quickly, in a blur

She lost her paradise
