Whisper softly
In muted tones
Unheard choirs
Of nature’s pure bliss
Held quietly
In the morning light
As dawn reaches
Into shades of white
Whisper softly
In darkness unknown
Unheard choirs
Left to reminisce
Held quietly
As dreams take flight
And dawn reaches
Into shades of night

I love this poem. And I love the phrase “shades of night”. I incorporate into my own poems frequently. Did you first hear of it by reading Milton as well? Or is it prevalent anywhere else in literature?

Similar moments with different directions. Beautiful how you described them.
