Face as white as winter snow

A serpent tattoo frames her eye

Lips, as red as red could be

Even the mirror lets out a sigh

But she is not a human, no

She is but a mere apparition

Quite different from all the others

Though many have their suspicions

She blends in with them, so perfectly

All these geisha’s, sitting around

No one would guess she is a fake

That would be truly profound

She keeps herself well hidden

Except, with Harry, who’s quite profane

Behind the curtain, she is a star

All decked out, in leather and chains

Come to me, my sweetest pet
Let nothing stand between us
The fire burns, inside we two
I can’t wait until they’ve seen us

My transformation’s taking place
Soon I will be one, like you
And when my wings begin to sprout
You know what you must do

Lend to me, your golden scales
Let them form around my being
Watch, as your magic now unfolds
And I become a dragon, freeing

The flames that burn inside my soul
I become one, with the Master Clan
Just a little bit longer, is all it will take
Til, at last, I am no longer human

Lips that pouted, soft and plump
How he longed to hungrily kiss her

Watching quietly, as she lie asleep
He knew in his heart, he would miss her

No chance for him to stay the night
He needed to leave while he could

She always knew he would return
Some things are just understood

One last glance, as he left the room
How he wanted so much to wake her

His heart always caused him such grief
Next time, he promised, he’d take her

The House On Grayson Place (The Disappearance)

Remember the house on Grayson Place

Not quite sure just where it’s gone

It appears, now, to be an empty space

Perhaps it was never there, all along

A pile of grassy dirt lays claim

To the lot, where it once stood

The neighborhood’s never been the same

Not quite sure it really should

Remind us, of the woman, who

We could hear, from dawn til dusk

Her howling shrill, would pierce right though

Ever long, and rather brusque

We knew better than to get too near

Strange things happened much too fast

How she filled us with this dreadful fear

A woman, who was marked, an outcast

Autumn leaves fall round me

In a whisper no one can hear

Fragile, the air that surrounds me

I wait for the mist to appear

The winds, swirl like a cyclone

As trees grow naked and stark

They call to me, lyrically, intone

Gathering thoughts, I embark

Toward the forest, bare of cover

Into shadows, as they grow

Wondering what I may discover

I get lost in the leaves below
