Friday Fantasy ~ Dragon Song

I play my flute
A song so sweet
As you fly
And settle round me
Down below
Wings aglow
Where nothing else
Has found me

I play my flute
Upon this rock
My dragons
I play for thee
While water slow
From walls does flow
Your fiery hearts
Surround me

Falling Into Darkness

I’m falling, falling

Deeper

Into the icy waters

Pulling me down

Into the darkness

I struggle for air

Gasping, Until

At last

I Awaken

Drenched,

In a pool

Of my own

Fears

Bathed in Sunlight through the Trees

They sing their Songs of Mysteries

Nestled in the Forest Glen

Purity of Life Descends

Upon the Gentle Greens of earth

Drinking in of Life’s Rebirth

Fluttering Softly to the Well

Hidden in this Verdant Dell

Hidden under, Down below

While Gently running Waters stow

Serenity to make us Whole

Tranquility in Mind and Soul

Is Stillness found within the Heart

Silent Blessings we Impart

A place to Gather, to Bestow

Where Healing Comfort overflows

jetty-593401_960_720Sunset beckons the tides to roll

Drawing you deeper into your soul

Reaching beyond the calling of day

Taking you farther and farther away

As nighttime descends upon oceans of blue

Covering waters with darkness anew

You slip past the shadows of ebony night

Awaiting the comfort of morning’s first light
