Winged ones take flight, covering the sky
Leaving behind, the homes they have built
No need to feel forlorn, for they will return
Rebuilding their nests, with love, to the hilt!

Striving to be much better, trying never to acclimate

Martin Luther King Jr., the man, who had a dream
Imagined that life could be beautiful, this is true
So, why is it, we cannot get along with one another?
Why is it our words are, so often, misconstrued?

It is human intelligence, or perhaps, a lack of
Which creates a sea, of uncertainty around us
Perchance, we could try, to mitigate tempers
And make this world, a bit more magnanimous!
