Swept ashore, she arrives with the tides

Beauty lies silent, she no longer hides

In waters that flow, harmonic, attune

Where the sun quietly rises, along with the moon

When peace stills thunderous clouds in the sky

With stars that still sparkle, radiant, high

She’ll sleep, ever blissful, upon solemn land

A mermaid’s dream, so carefully planned

In the hush of morn

When nothing else can be heard

The lark sweetly sings

This post was actually inspired by Ronovan Writes Haiku Challenge, only his words were Lark & Rush.  The hush won over  🙂
