Finding

The beginning
Of passion’s roar
Two souls as one

The rhythmic breathing of
Two hearts beating
A silence broken
With promises spoken

Whispers in the morn
The quiet slumber of
Two souls intertwining
Bodies both aching
True love awakening

Of nights meant to be
Of devotion and madness
Happiness, sadness

Whispering free
Visions of nights
Blending together
Enraptured fantasy

Blazing skies afire

Birds in flight, waters flow

Visions to inspire

Take me on a magical ride

Filled with untold secrets

Take me to the realm you hide

The place where no one frequents

Let me open up the door

Unlock the treasures hidden

Let me show you so much more

In places once forbidden

Come lie with me
Among the wildflowers
Fragrant with the promise
Of mornings first light

Come lie with me
As sunlight dances upon us
Under skies of blue
And faceless clouds

Come lie with me
Amidst the moonlit shadows
Gently caressing the night
A fantasy of stars
Dancing in the heavens

Come lie with me
And dream
Of yesterdays and wildflowers
Of sunlight and clouds
Of moonlight and stars
And tomorrows yet to come
