I’ve traveled here,
to sit, ponder
Basking in the glory
of nature
Feeling the warmth
of the sun
Soaking in the sounds
of water falling

(The rush of silence is awakening)

Freeing me, to find
my inner peace
These things,
I have somehow
Taken for granted,
Thinking they,
would always
be here for me

(Bestowed upon us from Heaven above)

And while the leaves
of the trees, provide
with their shade,
I shall always
turn my face
toward the light

(In thankful prayer for His many blessings)
