He couldn’t run fast enough

To get away from the crowd

Men with whips and chains

They really were quite loud

Captured now, he waited

For he knew his fate was sealed

Not a chance to save himself

So to these men, he’d yield

He waited, as they closed in

About to use him, like a toy

But all that kept running through his mind?

Good thing he wore corduroy

It was a rather strange sensation

When they told me I’m too old

To pose for the new swimsuit edition

Just forget about the centerfold

I tried to make them understand

That chunky is the new design

They just laughed, shooed me away

So I decided to fix them, fine

I sneaked my way into the place

Where the photos come together

Replaced them with my friendly face

Even dressed myself in leather

Imagine how surprised they were

When the issues hit the stands

Instead of a perfect picture

What they got, they hadn’t planned

Still, the magazines sold like hot cakes

They couldn’t keep them on the shelf

But I’ll tell you a little secret

I bought them all myself

She donned her pretty tutu

Forgot about her shoes

Grabbed a yellow sunflower

Held on tight, as not to lose

Golden tresses fell

In waves, she didn’t lack

Traveled down the pavement

Never once did she look back

She was only a child, a wanderer

Though she drifted, less and less

Followed the roads before her

No longer a restless princess

I’m exhausted, from all night excursions

The wine’s made me numb, from submersion

Quick, pour me another, I’m fading

This feeling is downright degrading

Perhaps, I should lay off the liquor

Since it goes to my head, much quicker

I usually do things quite dumb

Wonder what it is I’ve become

Can’t remember, the next day

What I did, anyway

I’ll probably do it again

To which there is no end

This wine is divine, and now it’s all mine

In fact, it’s my new favorite friend

Here I am, a spotted cow

Tell me what you think

I’m not the ordinary kind

When it’s milk you want to drink

No, I’m the one who dances

When the cowbells start to play

The girls, you see, they all love me

So here is where I’ll stay

So sorry to disappoint you

But I’m sure you’ll understand

I’m really a bull, in cow’s clothing

Even have my very own brand

You can skip the milk, altogether

And of course, forget the butter

Not every cow is exactly the same

Like me, there is no utter
