An elevator ride proved promising
We made our way up, to the top
Got off on the seventy-fourth floor
Cause that’s where the elevator stopped
Pretty certain this wasn’t where I needed to be
One more floor, guess I’ll use the stairs
As soon as I can find just where they are
Out of service, I wasn’t aware
That stairs had to have some maintenance
Every now and again, to make sure
No one fell through to the lower floors
Tis surely too much to endure
Still, I needed to find the seventy-fifth
It had to be above me, I gathered
Leaning against the wall, for a rest
I fell through, what I sensed, was a hazard
But lo and behold, there in front of me
A secret passage that led to my floor
Exiting into the hallway, I sighed
I’d have to search for the invisible door
