grunge-931641_960_720Wistful melancholy dreamer
Your thoughts have forever been
Visions swirling round your head
Fantasy lives inside, within

The one who claims the morning mist
With trees and rocks, you coexists
This wanderlust kept deep inside
Yet, sadness reigns where you abide

Journeys filled with worlds afar
You await the moment when
Flight can take you on your way
Alas, you’ll dream till then

Piper play your tune, amongst the birds and butterflies

Melodic tones they sing with thee, the music of the skies

Piper play your tune, joyous o’er the land

Harmonizing perfectly, across the heavens, grand

Piper play your tune, and feed the souls below

Nourish them in spirit, with the symphony you sow

He longed to taste her
lips, untouched, she
was purity, chaste
His mouth, watering
Wanting, to feel
her warmth, burning
inside him, waiting
Yes, he had to wait
For if their lips touched,
the fantasy would
no longer be
He wasn’t ready
to give up that sin

Wrap me in your golden threads

Embrace me in falling leaves

Then feel my body gently sigh

Caressed by autumn’s breeze

If I Make a Wish

If I make a wish
To chase the dark away
Will you hear my whisper
In the boughs that sway

From the autumn winds
That whip and stray
As they whisper back
In a sullen way

“That night has fallen
To skies of gray
We will have to wait
For return of day….”
