I can feel your life force

Flowing throw my veins

Like the blood that rushes through me

Each pulse, a musical refrain

Lightning bolts, each dagger

Released by your command

A whisper, all it takes for me

To heed to your demand

Stroking my existence

I let you steal my soul

You, forever, my energy

As your power takes control

He completes me, with a subtle air

That surrounds us both, like a cocoon

He wraps his arms around me, I find

Solace and safety, knowing this

Will always be our lives, together

As close as two can possibly be

We are equal, spirits, lovers, friends

Lifetime partners, sharing hopes

Dreaming of tomorrow, rejoicing

Our world is one, as we are one

A single entity, an unending bond

I can hear her calling, in the night
A whisper, softly spoken to me
She always appears, when there is no light
It’s the only way, to make me see

Her ethereal presence, in my home
Though I know not, from where, she comes
Just a subtle breeze, whenever she roams
She always knows, when I’m feeling glum

Her sweet voice, floating in the air
She is my comfort, when I am withdrawn
Her spirit lingers, in a silent prayer
As she disappears, with the wake of dawn

Frosted Shadows

Frosted windows hide the light

Of shadows moving in the night

You glance to see a face so near

Blink and watch it disappear

This entity is peeking through

Looking, seeking, only you

Making its way o’er the threshold

A spirit lost in winter’s cold
