In the tall green grass of the meadow

In a dimension much like our own

Lives an elf with his misses and family

In a small, dotted mushroom home

Bright red roofs are clustered

A shelter for the little folk inside

Free to be what they want to be

No need to run away and hide

So if you’re walking about in the country

And you spot a mushroom or two

Remember to leave well enough alone

Or elfin magic will come after you!

Daydreaming, in a lighthearted way
Staring off in the distance, she sighs

Light in the forest, behind her
Daybreak, again, on the rise

Elfin magic begins its descent
She waits for it to draw near

Dancing about, sunbeams shine
This is her favorite time of the year

For the world around, grows brighter
As the darkness quickly fades away

Nature begins her spring rebirth
And the elves rejoice, on this day

Full moon rises,

lights the sky

Waters flowing,

mountains high

Love illuminates,

this small house

Where elfin live,

he and his spouse

Hidden deep,

beyond the crest

They built together,

this sturdy nest

A place that they,

can call their own

Where peace ever reigns,

in this house of stone

Moonlit Night, the Owl Flies
A Messenger in White
Talons Grasp the Silken Scroll
That Shimmers in the Light

She Watches as he Takes his Flight
Will he Return Perchance
As Winter’s Cold Envelops her
She Turns for One Last Glance

A Secret Held, She’s Hidden Long
Known to the Snowy Raptors
She’ll Feel no Fervor in her Soul
Until his Heart she Captures
