The skies speak in whispered tones

The ocean, like choral bells, creates

Melodic sounds, a haunting hush,

Lulling you, into peaceful slumber

As waters calm, and tides slow

You escape, into a heavenly bliss

Kaleidoscopic visions sing

Alas, the secret longings bring

Enticing, with her eyes of blue

She’ll mesmerize the both of you

Her moon, it shines, makes colors glimmer

As night grows cold, and lovers shiver

Her warmth, a depth that’s never felt

Two hearts, apart, will never melt

Her stare, it holds them in her grip

As evil dissolves this partnership

For she no longer embraces those

Upon her path of unearthly woes

It’s funny how things happen, how oblivious I am to my surroundings, and who I am, until I hit that proverbial brick wall and wonder why all I had done just faded away. She reminded me often of that. I don’t think I ever forgave her. After all, wasn’t it she who taught me how to hide my feelings, how to disappear into oblivion.
