There is nothing more relaxing

Than the silence of morning

And the sound of a distant train whistle

Watch, as sun blushes

Shyly setting in the west

Tis the end of day

Moonstruck Repercussions ~ #poetry #FebruaryWriting #RomanticTuesday

I walk in the night, under the moon

Gathering my thoughts, in the dark

But he sets in the sky, much too soon

I need him, to create that spark

The one that keeps me writing

When I don’t think I have another word

The one, who makes things exciting

Yes, he calls me his little night bird

Until sun comes up, without discussion

Making the darkness fade swiftly away

I feel nothing, just moonstruck repercussions

When I have to deal with the light of day
