Sparks, that flare from flowers, flame

Fires ignite, in this realm of shame

Incantations, watch the petals burn

Enchantment gone, forever spurned

Desire, explodes, like fireworks

Shattering, quickly, as a demon smirks

Fearing the dark, no light where you stand

You slip, ever slowly, into evil’s command

With a flick of her finger, a wave of her hands

Sparks of the devil, ignite where she stands

Beauty is captured, in the glow of the fire

Spiraling upward, higher and higher

Conjuring heat, she‘s alive with the flames

Awaiting the fallen, whose souls she reclaims

Fear this demon, the one in which you confide

Her fire burns quickly, once your life is denied

The sun sets fire, to the night

As moon no longer, holds its flight

Sinking deeply, in ocean’s waves

The sky, now blackened, darkness caves

For we, no longer, will see him shine

Drowned beneath the water’s brine

So, we hang our heads, as we say goodbye

And mourn, the darkness of the sky

Darkness falls over your face

Blackened, like ash and soot

Blown about by solar winds

She no longer has the need

So she sends them to you

On the wisps of the clouds

From the shadows of the demons

Cast into the ebony skies

Until you are shrouded, hidden

In a haze of starless pitch

Allowing only the slightest light

To reign over the empyrean cosmos

You are the light that clears my mind

As the night grows darker still

You are the comfort I seek to find

The turmoil that surrounds me

Is simply brushed away by you

When you wrap your arms around me
