She rises from the waters
Her ethereal being flows

Billowing silken threads
Shadows in the throes

Of muddied liquid ripples
Chilled, against her skin

A soul, that’s buried far below
Her spirit, deep within

The sands of time, forever
She withstands, her body frail

Searching for the one she loves
Will she, at last, prevail?

She’ll rise again, tomorrow
In hopes, she’ll see him soon

Standing where she saw him last
Beneath the Harvest Moon

Let me dance on a world, left suspended in air

Leap to another, and wonder just where

The clouds will have taken me, long past the night

I am floating about, on a heavenly flight

Where my feet can no longer touch upon ground

And my world just keeps spinning, round and round

Where I am attune, with no longer a care

To the infinite, my soul, is transcending there

Feelings merged and intertwined

Unspoken words upon a page

Memories of a restless age

Written down for mortal self

Left in pages on a shelf

More than mere simplicity

Scattered thoughts, she never shares

Roam freely through the trees

Collecting colored rainbow arcs

That sparkle with the breeze

Hands held tightly, against her lips

Her secrets cannot be revealed

Sworn, to never say a word

These thoughts remain concealed

And yet she lets them fly about her

Lets ideas take flight, interlace

Getting lost in the haze of sunlit beams

In the forest, her secrets, embraced

I live in dreams
My escape from totality

Where moons hide the sun
And eclipse my reality

Where stars gather visions
Aglow with the light

Each guiding my way
Through the ebony night

Where faraway orbs
Spin a path out of reach

As they carry the mysteries
I’m longing to breach

Taking flight on a meteor
As it soars through the skies

I am touching the universe
When I close my eyes

I can float through the heavens
On a crystal snowflake

Getting lost in my dreams
Til it’s time to awake
