I held my place, upon the shore
Watched the boats in the harbor, glide
They kept their distance, thanks to me
And I was filled, with a sense of pride
For I was the one to watch over
The boats that passed through, each day
Making sure, they were safe from harm
As they made their way, into the bay
Their sails did fly, against the wind
Easier now, then from the seas
Flapping and swaying, in a rhythmic dance
Guided by me and the Nantucket breeze

I’m trying to put it off as long as possible. My life is too complicated right now to be down for months. Hope all goes well today ❤
