Carnelian and Carbuncle were lovers

A secret they kept, undercover

Should the ringmaster ever find out

They’d be fired for sure, there’s no doubt

Making the others keep the secret in tact

The circus clowns would, the master, distract

So they could meet under the tent, but, in a hurry

Time was so short, they would have to scurry

Running around, all over the grounds

Trying very hard, not to make any sounds

Entertaining the people, they were a sight to see

Two elephants, under the big top, making whoopee

Seems their secret was out, oh the shame!

And they had only themselves to blame

A lesson to be learned, never trust a painted face

Everyone knows, the clowns run the whole place

She did it on purpose, I know it!
Put those gross little things in the stew
Tried to disguise them as potatoes
Leaving me no choice, but to spew

Carrots and peas, flying everywhere
Beef, shredded, more than before
Those torturous turnips, defeated
I threw the rest of them on the floor!

Partially based on a true story. I never ate my mother-in-law’s stew again lol

Clyde was a dapper ole chap
Donned in his favorite top hat
Lived in a tux, all year round
The ladies thought he was all that

Each one trying to win his hand
At the dance club, they would spin
Pirouetting about him, oh, so grand
Made Clyde feel like the kingpin

Dancing away, the night grew short
One by one, the ladies departed
Poor Clyde was left, standing alone
Feeling quite low, and downhearted

Until he realized what he could do
Yes! The dance floor was all his own
Clicking to the beat, step one, step two
Tapped his way back, to the Antarctic zone

Felix Fineas didn’t know why

He’d always make the ladies cry

Thought it cute, when he patted their rears

This went on and on, for years

The truth, they would all testify

*

Yes, Felix had finally been caught

Though he claimed it was all for naught

Spent his days in his cell

Watched his life go to hell

Now dear Felix is quite overwrought

Always hiding, within a book

Never glancing out, to take a look

Delph the Elf, was a studious guy

Never cared much for Santa, but why?

No one knew, twas a puzzle to all

How could he do this, oh what gall!

Christmas was near, the children, excited

Yet this little elf would stay home, he decided

He sat on his chair, day after day

Night after night, he liked it this way

See, he didn’t care, he kept to himself

Thankful for not being stuck on a shelf
