Jupiter decided to take over Earth
A much larger planet was he
So he jumped over Mars
Left behind many stars
Claiming this would be Earth’s apogee

Earth just smiled, as she waited
Tempted Jupiter to take his shot
Sent him off, quite impaired
Turned around and declared
It would seem that size matters not!

I’m exhausted, from all night excursions

The wine’s made me numb, from submersion

Quick, pour me another, I’m fading

This feeling is downright degrading

Perhaps, I should lay off the liquor

Since it goes to my head, much quicker

I usually do things quite dumb

Wonder what it is I’ve become

Can’t remember, the next day

What I did, anyway

I’ll probably do it again

To which there is no end

This wine is divine, and now it’s all mine

In fact, it’s my new favorite friend
