Why bother carrying that extra baggage?

You really don’t look ritzy when you do it

Instead use your strength for better things

Make a difference in the world, renew it!

Weep not, my child

For I shall console you

With loving arms

Which shall enfold you

For you are my flesh

No pity do you need

Find comfort within

Let no one impede

Your desires, your dreams

Will become what you seek

Feel my strength, entrusted

With a kiss, on your cheek

Dedicated to my beautiful Aunt Dee, whom I call my sister because she truly is.  Battling with MS, she has more courage than anyone I know.  I love her dearly.

She is my sanity, the voice of reason

When life sends me spiraling down

She is there, to catch me, to lift me up

When I can’t seem to find myself

She reminds me how far I’ve come

Never questioning who or what I am

Always by my side, always on my side

Even through her own battles

She is my rock, my soul sister, my friend

Letting me know I am stronger than ever

Yes, I am stronger, because of her
