For she is
Too young
To know the truth
Too naïve
To understand
Why not
Blame yourself
Instead of
Putting her
In harm’s way
For the sake
Of your own
Insanity
Spare the child
Your drama
Self-centered
Never
Looked good
On you
Instead
Thank God
She grew
Into a woman
Self-confident
Not self-absorbed
