Shadows of Yesterdays
Long ago Forgotten
Lost Friends, Lost Loves
Tucked away Unblossomed

Mirrors Reflected
Scenes left Unfinished
Moments in Time
Now forever Diminished

The Past in the Background
Still the Hurt fills your Chest
As the Memories Linger
A Heart filled with Unrest

Silent, Still, Serene

Be Silent
The Whispers of the Rain
Beckon you to Hear
The soft patter of Heavens tears
Washing away the Pain

Be Still
Gentle movements Ripple by
The Crashing of the Waves
Bringing Comfort through the Night
Calming with a Subtle Sigh

Be Serene
Forget the Fears, Cast away Sorrows
Somber moods Uplifted High
Tilt your head to the Sky above
Tranquil thoughts Embrace Tomorrow

Ethereal Shadows

Cover the Night

Satin White Wings

Flow with the Light

Close to the Edge

Standing Free as a Kite

Arms held High

About to take Flight

Lost to the Darkness

Though try as she Might

She is One with the Moon

Unafraid of the Height

*******************************

For those who do not know ballet terms they are as follows;
Chasse – a slide forward, backward, or sideways

Ballon – Showing lightness of movement in leaps and jumps. A dancer exhibiting ballon will appear to spring effortlessly, float in mid-air, and land softly.

Pas de Bourree Couru – flowing smoothly
