Quiet Waters Soothe the Soul
Like the Lapping Tides upon the Shore
They carry away Yesterday’s Worry

Old Man Moon who Shines so Bright
Sleep under thine own very Light
Gentle Waters still in Slumber
Forest beauty Unencumbered
Cast your Glow, Subdued, Agleam
Let the Night Vanish into a Dream

Behold! The key to my heart
The dark side of my soul
A tiny piece of sculpted metal
Ever locking the secrets
Held deep inside of me
Curved and polished
Notched in perfect symmetry
Untarnished by lovers past
Forever kept concealed

Roar
Like a Mighty Lion
Announcing his Arrival
Blow
Like Gathering Winds
Greeting the Dawn
Dance
With the Trees
In a Rhythmic Sway
Sigh
A Gust Begins
The Sweet Song of Spring

Can’t find my keys, Can’t find my purse
It’s getting late, It’s getting worse
Toss the papers in the air
Clutter, Clutter Everywhere
Under tables, On the floor
How did this become a chore?
Need to find someone to help
Where’s the dog and what’s that yelp?
The cat’s asleep upon a pile
I guess I’ll be here for awhile
The telephone’s ringing off the hook
No time to waste, no time to look
I have to leave, I’m out the door
I can’t take this anymore!
