Let me breathe freely
With the flowers in the field
Inhaling all the splendor
My soul can now be healed

Graced in God’s wonder
Beautiful colors blend
Touched by a gently blowing breeze
My thoughts can now transcend

And carry me to places
Where I never thought I’d go
Beyond the beauty of nature’s ballet
Dancing to and fro

Misty

Misty night shivers

As the cold splashes its face

With tiny droplets

Flying across the air

Never falling, only covering

Nourishing

The unborn petals

Awaiting the warmth of day

Evening Lights

Evening Lights, night, Night Owl Poetry, planet, Plieades, poems, poetry, Seven Sisters, stars, Venus

Shining in the Western Sky
The Star of Beauty ever Bright
Illuminating Darkness
Venus, on this Cloudless Night

Sharing in her Splendor
Huddled high in Evening Pitch
Seven Sisters gather near
To Captivate, Bewitch

Celestial, Alluring
Beguiling is their Sight
High in the Heavens up Above
Divine in Everlasting Light

For all the stargazers:  Look in the Western sky and you’ll find Venus and to the right of her, the Pleiades cluster, also known as the Seven Sisters.  Enjoy the nights with these beautiful lights.

Mirrored places reflecting light
Translucent, ever gleaming
Beauty cast in shades of wonder
Rays of sunshine ever streaming

Azure skies embrace the splendor
Tinting gentle waters blue
Cherry blossoms exhale softly
As the world awakens new

Colors so rich in elegant tones
Iridescent upon emerald grass
Transforming the artistry of the day
Mother Nature paints on glass

As I Grow Old, growing old, memories, Night Owl Poetry, old age, poems, poetry, searching

I stand in Shadows
Against the Light
To Block the Mirror
Of my Mind’s own Sight

I Look for the Answers
And Search for the Truth
Of those days gone by
My long Lost Youth

Perhaps I know
What Forever is Told
Memories still Linger
As I Grow Old
